With a third child on the way and working part-time outside the home, my husband and I decided it was time for me to quit my job and work at home while raising our children. While researching various options for working at home, I received a post card in the mail from a marketing firm describing 30 home-based businesses. I was looking for something fun and crafty that would involve creating an end product for people, using a computer. There it was … computerized embroidery.

While this business option excited me, my husband was not so excited. That was, until he mentioned it to a business colleague. Several days later, the business colleague called my husband to see if we had ordered the embroidery machine because he wanted to purchase some jackets with their business logo. Well, that was all it took. My husband called me and said order the machine.
